School Van DriverCompany: Tri County TransportationLocation: 406 Magnolia Street, Northern Cambria, PA 15714Job Type: Part-timeNo CDL required. We provide the training.$13.86 an hourPart-time. Typically about 22.5 hours a week across a morning and an afternoon routeCore routes run Monday to Friday during the school daySummer work is available but not mandatorySupplemental Benefits availableDriving students in the Northern Cambria School DistrictYou do not need a CDL or previous driving experience. We train you.What the job involvesYou will drive a van on a set route, morning and afternoon, carrying students to and from school. Alongside driving, you are responsible for pre-trip inspections, keeping the vehicle within DOT requirements, checking the vehicle after every route, and managing student behavior safely.Your dayMorning route typically around 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Afternoon route typically around 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is a split shift with a break in between. That is about 4.5 hours of paid time a day.Field trips, sports and activity runs are available on a rotational basis and are optional.
